One thing we all have in common is that we’re flawed.
A little fucked up up in our own way.
Embrace it.
I’m not sure what inspired me to start The Broken People. But it felt important at the time. The truth is, I just wanted to create something that mattered to me. Something to give me a creative outlet that wasn’t selling gasoline, fast-food deals or credit card contracts. I wanted to create something that people connected with. Related to. Something that strikes a chord.
This isn’t for everyone. It isn’t really for anyone.
I want to let the brand drive itself naturally, instead of pushing it to become something I hate. Something that becomes another chore. So I appreciate everyone’s patience.
This project aims to highlight some of our shared experiences. Relate with one another. Remind us that what makes us broken, is part of who we are. For better or for worse.
We spend so much time pretending to be “fine” that we sometimes forget how to just be ourselves. How to love ourselves despite our flaws. How to wake up every morning to put shoes on, and keep moving forward. This is a passion project.
I don’t know what happens next.
But we’ll find out soon enough.
Love,
Kyle 🖤❤️🩹❤️
